You might want to give us a bit more info so that better
help could be provided to you.
You could try downloading the 3Com Network Management Tool
for the 3300 model, then download the MIBs for the 4226
model. Install them on your PC. This may be enough.
If you want a Utility that allows you to see packets on your network, you could try ETHEREAL
If the Ethereal doesn't work for you, then perhaps some
others in this forum can suggest other Freeware, or costly
tools.
