3com 3300 switch, can't connect, Virus?

Hi all,

I have 3com 3300 switches (v2.61 mostly)
I can't connect to them via telnet of browser.

I can ping them and they are forwarding traffic ok.
My 3com-ns software is caught up in a machine upgrade.

I think it may be a nimda variant virus holding too many open connections to target machines.

Any ideas?
