i have a compaq contura 420c and windows couldn't find my 10/100 lan + 56k global modem cardbus pc card when i clicked add new hardware.. i've installed every possible software that came with this card including a qfe patch found on 3com website. when i tried to install the card using the disk and i selected the inf file it came up saying this file contains to information about your hardware. when i inserted an old tdk global freedom 5660 card that i had the computer found it and i dont believe that the card was a 16bit card
