I have a 3910 cordless phone connected to a R6 partner and it has stopped aquiring link. When you press talk it just blinks aquiring link then the display goes blank.... Any suggestions? I have checked all connections to the base even changed ports and cycled power.

Is there more than one 3910 cordless phone at this site? If so, check that the barcode at the bottom of the base unit matches that of the handset (remove the battery cover to view).

Also, repeatedly press the Channel button and see if you can get sync with the base unit.

Interference is not the issue here since the 3910 uses 900Mhz Digital Spread Spectrum technology.

I know you checked the connections, but it is worth double-checking the plug going into the back of the antenna base. The jack on the antenna is an rj45, the line cord provided is an rj11. This usually doesn't matter, but I have seen on the 3910's where it has gotten off center and therefore not made the connection properly. If it is off center, you will not be able to acquire a link.
