we have a Avaya 3910 (yes old ) codless phone that will not power up I mean the battery is a 4.1 volts but the phone shows nothing on the display
is their a power ( not ringer on-off) o-n off switch the base unit is pluged in and the light is red dose it have to be paired befor we get any display or will the display light uo
or buttons light up with just a good battery the last thing is dead hand set but it looks good could be bad just need info of what to look for when it should power up or i9f dead phone double checking
thanks for any in put it will help us much these pho9nes are about 350.00 dollar each bill

The 3910 is auto paired to the base unit. The serial number on the phone must match the serial number on the base unit for it to synch. There is no on/off button for the phone. If it has a charged battery, it should power up once the battery is inserted. If it is not, you have a bad phone.

The 3920 could be synched to other base units. The 3910 cannot. check your serial numbers to make sure they match.
