I'm having trouble posting the ATT and CDB data, but can someone provide me the basics in LD 11 and LD 15 so that I can make and receive calls on my 3904 phone internally, no forwarding or no DID setup is necessary.
That is my first thought. If I config. FDN to 0 or to an ext. when I call the 3904 set it will forward the call immediately to those respective numbers, but if I turn off FDN I get the fast busy. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me with regards to FDN, FNA, CFTA, HTA, FNAL, CFNA, Ect... should be allowed or not with this set configured for internal calls only. If this is again too vague, then I'll try to do more research or try to get the data posted.
This is pretty basic stuff. There is nothing I know of to allow an internal call. I would out the phone and rebuild it and accept all the defaults and program only key 0 scr and see if it works.
So, outting it and re-entering the 3904 with a default configuration didn't correct the issue. Could it be something in LD 15 with forwarding that could cause the problem?
If the inbound call is supposed to be a DID, make sure it is a valid DID to your switch, change the extension on the phone to a known working DID and see if the call rings the phone, if it does, the number you assigned it probably does not fall within your DID range, or needs to be converted in Ld 49 IDC table.
OK, as I mentioned I'm not doing anything with DIDs, all I want is to call from my 3904 set to another digital set and vice versa. Right now I can call from my 3904, but can't receive any calls, I get a fast busy. Making changes to FDN, FNA, and CFTA I was able to get a call going to the 3904 to immediately forward to an extention, but that isn't what I want. I want the 3904 to ring and receive calls. Below is the programming of the TN now. After reviewing this I can then post the CDB. Thanks.
What kind of switch is this and what release is it? Is it a cabinet, chassis,or SG, MG? I see you have the phone programmed on 4 0 4 0, is there other phones on this card you can call? Is there other phones in this loop you can call? Is this a new cabinet or one that was already there?
Call from this phone to a display phone and see what comes up for an extension. Make sure it is correct.
If it is, try changing the extension to see if that works, you may have a conflict somehow. If that does not help, try moving it to another TN on a different card to see if the card is the issue.
Have you printed a good phone and compared all the options side by side?
