3903 fdlu error

I am trying to update the firmware on a M3903 and I keep getting this error. I have updated a few of them today with no problem but this one won't work.


this is the error SDL2110 REASON 20, 3903(0 1 4 9 ), VERSION 91, MAINT MODE.


This is the fwvu info for the phone.

It might be worth checking that the set type is actually a 3903 phone and not another type as I've known many failures to be caused when users swap out phones thinking that they will work on all digital sockets.

You might need to try out the following tips below

Use the suspend command to access LD 32, use FDLC to cancel the suspended command, disable & enable the affected card and re-commence with another FDLU.

Trying to do CHG on M3904 TNB get SCH1958 : TN is blocked since midnight download is triggered for the Taurus set type.
Tried to DISU TNB got NPR034 : DISU command is blocked because the unit being disabled is experiencing a flash download.
Tried FDLU TNB said already had latest Firmware.
FDLF TNB and now able to CHG or DISU OK

The only time i ever update a 3900 is if i can physically sit next to the thing. A few times someone saw the red light on and the bar going across the screen. And guess what they thought. "I must unplug this phone right now"

Reason 20- Verification byte is incorrect.

I have no idea what that means but it doesn't like something about that phone or TN
