Hello,

I am looking for any information/help i can get regarding hand held terminals and 3700, set up, what hand held terminals i should be using, and anything else needed. The database already has HHT touch screens set up, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
Frank

The Mtablet uses the Win32 CAL. No custom HH screens are required. They will use your existing touchscreens that are already in use by your POS workstations.

I am cvurios, are mtablets hard to set up? any hints or documentation? I imagine you need great wifi?
thx again

I would avoid those pieces of crap and just get a good win32 tablet with a card reader on it like a Panasonic toughpad. We’re even using some bare bones windows tablets with wifi EMV devices that are working beautifully. We’ve had tons of issues with the E and R series tablets from Oracle - none from the typically cheaper third party tablets. From what I understand they’ve introduced another version of the mTablet which is supposed to be more reliable, but we don’t trust them at this point.

THKS SO MUCH,
THIS IS ALL NEW TO ME,
DU YOU HAVE A MODEL NUMBER FOR TOUGH PAD?
THEN i NEED SOME STRONG WIFI? AND ANY IDEA OR DOCS ON HOW TO CONFIGURE?
AND CAN IT DO CREDIT CARDS?

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP

The win32 tablets from panasonic and oracle both do magnetic swipe credit cards, yes. Both install using the standard win32 CAL.

If you go the toughpad route, it’s actually modular so just google it. You can get them with scanners, credit card readers, hot swappable batteries, etc.

I would like tough pads w/c.card readers. can you send model number? aldo w/cal setup is like any workstation right?

thank so much again
