3631 Phone on IP500v2

Hey,
I have a 3631 phone to play with. Any get this phone to work on IPO? And if yes did you need an AVPP?

These phones are not supported on ipo.

Never the less i did get one out and try it.

It all worked fine apart from one thing that i could not get around, quite an important thing.

When you rang the set the display would alert but no actual ringing noise coming out of the handset.

You would think this was a handset issue but the volume was up, defaulted it etc etc same thing.

Lost p[atience and couldnt be arsed trying to upgrade the firmware as had other stuff to do.

Those are H323, you could try it with a 3rd party IP End point licence.

Try 1234 and the admin code should be 0000000 or 11111111

I got it to work, but as platguy says no ringing alert. but work great for not being supported...

Anyone know how to get it to ring now wins 3 stars?

You could try to change "Supplementary Services" in the "extension" from None to H450 or vice versa

I tried that and the the local tones (which sounds like the right thing) but the system sees the 3631 as a 4620 set.

Found some info, you need to have the 1.3.1 firmware.
