Hi all:

I was wondering if anyone has converted their 36 menus to native & if they had any tips on making it easier. We are having a non-programmer do it(an operator), so I am trying to find the easiest was for her to do it. We have about 400 menus to convert. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I spent a year converting 36 code to RPG400 and making it Y2K compliant. It was horrible, I still have flashbacks....

If you are not planning on purchasing a migration tool, I would just use SDA to create new native menus which replicate the option numbers and called programs from the S36 menus. If you set the new menus up in a test library, you can keep the same menu names and just migrate them over after testing. Menus are so easy to do in SDA, that I think it would be the fastest way to get them all done.

how to write a program that displays a calendar for a given month? The user enters a code for the day, of week, a code for the month and a code to indicate whether or not it is a leap year.
