36-bit color (HiFi) Scanning error

When scanning with AdobeImageReady and EPSON Twain Pro, any attempt to scan at 36-bit color (hiFi) level results in an error message (In ImageReady)saying "Could not import the document because the plug-in requires services not provided by the Photoshop Adapter (error # -30900)."

???
