3550 EMI 48 OR 24 ?

My current lab consists of some routers along with 2 2950. My question is, will i be better of with a 24 or 48 port 3550 EMI and why? Thanks for responses ahead of time, this and the cisco router forum been very reliable for answers so far.

It's the same switch, just one has 24ports and the other have 48 ports. If your not connecting more than 24 devices to your switch in a lab environment, Then go for the 24 port just make sure it has the EMI image.
