Does anyone have a fax solution where by I can have legacy fax machines off a remote extensions

I don’t have an analogue board installed on the 33MX at the moment, Id rather try and do it with IP.

Other solution at the moment is of course Fax to desktop but I can see some of the stalwart users not going for this.

Cheers

Tim

Do you have any TDM (digital) phones? You could place a module in the back to provide a 1FL.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the MX controller now comes with 2 analog and 2 digital ports included?????? The 3300 MX and SX-200 ICP MX are now on the same hardware.

Sorry.

I meant Ive GOT the analogue board installed just havent got the patch pannel.

MX comes with 2 x FX and 2 x FO on board with an 'piggy back board' for 2 more of each???? Then you need the ASU

Ive found some Analogue to IP extenders that will do the job but Ill have to buy the ASU because the customer has got 13+ machine machines.

Also the extenders are 2 port units which means the cabs going to get abit messy.

Im still pushing for Fax from Desktop, but I think the customer is looking for the comfort / security of actually having a fax machine to cuddle.

Check the secondary mkt before ordering a new ASU. DEAN sent us a fax a week or 2 ago said they had some 24 port ASU's for $750 apiece. These will work right off the CIM port on the front of any 3300 controller and you won't need anything else (no fim card needed, no license, etc)
