Can I disable the ability for a external users to be able to * past the autoattendent and get to a mailbox.

Ive looked through the Class of CoS but I cant see anything.

Cheers

Tim

Are you asking about * or #? # generally allows on to go directly to a users VM. If that is the case with EMEM, I don't believe there is....

To confirm.

Ive chatted with UK support.

There isnt a way of killing it.

That needs to be fixed. I can see where it would be helpful for it to be an option to either allow or disallow, like the old Octel Aspen and Overture systems did it.

Id agree.

Im currently installing 33MX's into Education in the UK.

I KNOW, that the kids will sit there all night and try and hack it....

It would be VERY useful to disable it.

Anyone have the ability to push feature requests to the developers????

Tim

That's called a DCR (Design Change Request) and there's a process to submit one. Check with your TAM (Tech. Acct Manager)

The embedded voicemail is meant to be basic. For advanced features upgrade to a NuPoint.
