I have a problem with a standalone 3300XM switch that has suddenly failed. The device was on for 4500 hrs with no problems then it stopped switching traffic. The front panel has all 8 unit LEDs lit green and the power light is flashing green. The port lights are still flashing amber with the traffic from the devices connected to the switch, but no link lights are lit.
I have tried updating the software without success. During the update the unit lights go out, but they come back on again after the SUU has reported a successful update.
Any help would be appreciated as annoyingly the switch failed the day after the warrenty period expired
