Is it possible to configure SFT on a 3300? Customer has a mix of MX and CXI controllers with no per cabs, all running R8 software.

They have an ADSL line on each site and would like to use it as failover if the 3300 dies. They do not have any device resiliency!

Thanks

The CXi Systems should have SFT relays between the 1st 2 trunks and the 1st 2 analog stations on the Analog main board

These would only engage in a power fail situation

I am uncertain whether the Mx controllers had this on their embedded modules but I would guess yes.

The tech handbook for each would clarify if you have access

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Old Univeral ASU's also had SFT I believe.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
