Im missing something when trying to get the RAD's going.

I can see how to ressign a voicemail port (say 620)

Ive got an Autoattendant for 4 options, sales, accounts, etc, etc.

so the caller presses 1 for a sales multiline extention (say ext 201) and while the phone is ringing I want it to say "Thank you for holding for sales, blah, blah, blah"

How do I assign that 620 rad to that 201 multiline ext.? and then another rad to the accounts multiline ext??

Tim

OK

So I have created a hunt group on 211 with a RAD of 620 assigned to it and then put the multikey ext. 201 into that hunt group.

Its working. Is that the way to do it?

I dont have hold music at the moment, a get a ringing tone before the rad answers but nothing inbetween the next playing of the rad, any ideas?

Tim

firstly is this a 3300?
the only way to play the rad whilst the phone is ringing, is the way you have set it up, in a hunt group. as far as I know there is no other way to do this. the alternative ways would play the message, then let the phone ring.

yes you would need moh if you want to "give" your callers music whilst waiting for the next rad.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Next tricky thing If Ive got 2 hunt groups that want different RAD's

After recoding both RAD's and assigning them to different hunt groups one RAD plays one and a half times, and the other RAD plays 3/4.

The duration of the RAD's seams to be tied on somehow. Has anyone seen this?
