I set up two Port Tunks between three switches. Worked fine for a few days and then the network experienced very strange problems. Client PCs could talk to some but not ALL servers and there was no logic to which they could see and which they could not. I was only able to solve the problem at the time by removing the Port Trunk links and switching to single port connections.

Has anyone else experienced this with Port Trunks and is there a known issue / resolution?

Are you using Aggregate Links?

There are many issues with Aggregate Links and 3Com switches.

Good Luck!

Yes.

What issues do you know of? Are they solveable, or should I avoid Port Trunks/Aggreagate Links using 3Coms?

Thanks
