Weird one guys.

I've always considered Mitel PMS to be fairly bulletproof. I have a situation where rooms can be checked in/out, names changed etc but the Maid in room codes are not being transmitted.

I've taken the PMS server out of the equation and tested directly on the IPocket using my laptop. Full 2-way communication for all normal stuff but still no Maid In Room Status messages.

This did work until recently, nothing has changed programming wise. My first instinct is to reset the controller.

Any other suggestions?

P.S. it's running Rel 6.1 and I know that is old but it's a hotel and nothing changes.

I would go with your knee-jerk instinct. If a packet sniffer says the data isn't there, then it isn't there.

I forget, does Rls 6 support resource recovery?

Yes, Rel 6 has Resource recovery.

The current plan is to upgrade to latest release (Mitel doesn't support 6.1 without penalties)

This is a large hotel with a call center covering multiple sites and down time is an issue. I wouldn't normally change too many things at once but you do what you have to sometimes.

Upgrade did not go well, restore failed trying to get to 9.0. Compromised at 7.1 (Minimum to get support)

Maid in room codes work again.

Nasty upgrade, 3.5 hours down.
