3300 Key System Emulation

Just finished a small 3300 installation, my first. The customer wants a key system emulation using 2 LS trunks.
I have them appearing on all the phones (IP Phones), programmed on the keys as "key system".
Outbound, they work great, press and dial. Inbound, however, the caller hears 3 full ring cycles before the phone begins to ring.
Am I missing a setup somewhere, or is this a trait of the key system emulation?
