Hi all,
Has anyone else experienced trouble with this particular feature. If you go into the group admin tool and click on Manage extensions then edit the users mailbox, at the bottom of this screen there is a little "tips" are that explains to you what each field means and what type of data its looking for. Under the passcode area, It says:

"If a user forgets his/her passcode, reset by entering the default code (all 9's) or enter a new code. Etnering a new code saves the user from having to record his or her greeting again."

To me, this kinda infers that if you enter the default code (which is 1111 not 9999), that the mailbox will go through the tutorial the next time they enter thier vm box.

Has anyone else tried this or had trouble with it....or do we know the sotry why it has not be removed?

in all my life I've never a user has never had to reconfigure their mailbox when the password was changed, even back to default 1111.

must admit haven't done this via the group admin tool though.
