This probably another stupid question, but-

Is there a reason that I cannot assign "Direct Voice Call" to a button on a phone?

I defined a Feature Access code and it works by dialing that, but the web interface won't let me choose it as an option to assign to a button.

Thanks for the help!

Never mind. I figured out a way to trick it by assigning it as a speed dial.

Can you explain what you really wanted to do ?

Now, it's about French users too !!!

What I really want to do is this-I want to be able to assign the feature "Direct Voice Call" to a button on a phone, so that the user doesn't need to dial the feature access code.

What I have found out, is that the "Direct Voice Call" and "Direct Page" are really the same thing. I also found out that you can program a user speed call with a feature access code to make the features work as well.

My next problem is that I can't get the call forward button to work, but I'll kick that around myself for awhile before starting a new thread on that.

This is what happens when you go to class and then don't get to work on the machine until 8 months later-you can't remember how to do simple things!

The call forward button is a toggle on/off of a pre-existing setting.

The destination needs to be set first by a FAC or thru the superkey.
