Hello all,

Got a question that should be simple to figure out but our group is relatively new to the 3300 in an enterprise networked environment.

I've got a remote site that has a 3300 controller and a PRI out the the PSTN. Several users have complained of "choppy" voice quality when making a call to the outside world. I know QoS isn't an issue because all of the VoIP is on the local network (not traversing a slower WAN link). Is there something specific we could check on our 3300 controller as it relates to the PRI? Or should I go directly to our telco provider?

Check the status of the span. DT R X,x,x,x where x is the plid of the span look for slips etc. Also check maintenance logs for phase shifts at the plid of the span.

Of you have entries in any if these, check your link descriptor and protocol assignment for proper settings.

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!
