3300 blocking the name from being sent between systems

Previously my customer had Name Suppression on Outgoing Trunk Calls enabled with their PRI

We migrated all the users to a virtual system and left the original system in place as a PRI gateway.

Now all the user names are being sent out on the PRI because the name is being sent between the systems.

I've tried enabling name Suppression on the IP trunks (Direct IP COS 100)

I've tried enabling Name suppression on the PRI COS

Anyone have a different idea?

did you try
COS Calling Party Name Substitution
this says it replaces the name with the Department and if thats blank with '-'

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Sorry Billz66, I should have mentioned that that option is unavailable to me as the customer is using the department field for department names.

I've already given the customer a heads up that it might need to change

Is this DMS 100/250? Otherwise if NI-2 I think it can be disabled in the protocol

I don't know if any QSIG settings on the DMS 100 protocol can block it, you could try NI-2 with blocking and see if the far end can handle the messaging. Othewise an Adtran to convert NI-2 to DMS 100, might be in order. I have very little or no systems left on DMS 100 protocol
