3300 AX>Help Files>

I'm trying to set up an iPocket232 on a 3300 AX cabinet. However, I discovered that you can't download the help files(which contain instructions on how to program the 3300 for an iPocket) to a 3300 with an AX cabinet. Do I need to reload the software just to download the files to a folder on my desk or is their another way to get the help files?

PMS integration.

Off the top of my head

- Connect to the iPocket 9600/N/8/1
- Press and hold reset until config screen appears
- Set the IP address of the iPocket under option 1
- select option 2
- Set the interface to Telnet TCP-Client
- Set the speed appropriately
- set the terminal type to vt-100
- set the [not sure what it's called] to net-linked
- set the remote host address to the 3300 IP address
- set the remote port to 15373 (<<-- that port number might not be correct)
- Save

As for the help files. They can be run directly off Mitel's website or if you really want to have a copy, once downloaded, use the launch.htm to run it.

The voicemail will use port 6830, that one I'm sure of.

Awesome! Thanks everyone! I also figured out how to view the files in the System Admin Tools Help. There's a url in the files. Clicked on it and bam; Christmas in May!

kwbMitel, I'm all set up but now I need a way to test the connection. I recall you making a post about being able to test the iPocket232 connectivity with the system using telnet. How'd you do it? Gonna search the threads for more info.

There is a PMS tester utility that can be found on Mitel online that I am told works with Win7 but I have not been successful in getting to work since XP. If you can get a copy and get it to work this is by far your best bet.

Otherwise, the manual process is very cumbersome.

Here is a string that would check in room 101 for example (just the first line, the other is to show the spaces and character count)

With voicemail there is a required checksum after the ^C. Believe me when I say, you don't want to go there
