My system seems to be working fine but I noticed the alarm LED was flashing. So I checked the alarms in maintenance. It states DSU MSG Link Major. I checked the DOCS and it does not say much. I am not using a DSU. I have the 3300 MXe with a T1 Dual Framer and 3 ASU II's. Any Ideas?

Go to the Maintenance & Diagnostics screen and enter the command message subsystem If any of the links show an active status of "SCAN" then that's where your failure is. Normal (good) status should say "OPEN

It's actually scanning the other T1 port on the T1/E1 Dual Framer. I am not using that port. Is there a way to cancel the scan?

On another note: I can't seem to find much programming on CID on Analog sets, but what I did find and made the necessary changes and I still can't get CID on analog sets. Any suggestions?

you probably activated the programming for the second port on the T1 card. Go thru your forms and remove the programming on the second port.

Can't help on the CID question. never done it.

I did have the 2 part of the T1 configured. I clear it and now it's gone.
Thx.
