hi,

i have a dell poweredge 2900 with 32 bit server 2003 standard

can i wipe and install 64 bit server 2003 standard with my current disks/licenses?

or would i be required to buy something more/different?\

thanks

A few things come to mind...

1) A PE2900 should be capable of handling a 64-bit OS, but you may want to check the processor to make sure.
2) As long as you stick with 2003, your CALs stay the same, but you will need a different server license/key.
3) You will probably want to upgrade the memory in the box to 4 or more GB of RAM.
