Hi everybody,
I have to translate 0x41dc3f00 into floating point. When I do that 'by hand', I find 27.5308 and when I do that with tcl, I find 27.5625 using thjat script :

binary scan [binary format i $data] f result

An idea anyone?

Thanks

See the Tcl'rs Wiki page on the subject:
You don't say what platform you're using. Is IEEE native on the platform?
