I have two MS Access databases. One retrieves data, the second is the user front end. The front end calls the first database to run specific queries.
One of the users - at a separate location - can run the queries from the first database manually. But when using the front end the macro dies, trying to call the very first query. The error message after Halting the macro is: ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel.
I e-mailed the databases to this user and made sure the tables were linked properly. In addition an ODBC issue with a firewall has been corrected. Again, he can run the queries from the first database so I can't understand why there is now an Oracle problem.
Can you offer any suggestions?
