Have a customer with an NBX100 running R6_0_35. Network consists of 3Com baseline switches. Issue effects both internal and external calls.

When call is made/answered with handset, audio quality is fine. When speaker is engaged, audio goes south. Returns to normal when switch back to handset. This occurs on most, not all, phones.

My understanding is that audio traffic is unicast regardless of whether handset or speaker. Multicast is conference and paging. Anythoughts???

Thanks in advance.

Are you suggesting the upgrade as a matter of good practice or are you aware of an issue corrected in that version? If there is something specific, would you mind sharing the details.

Thanks for the input.
