Hello,

Have you tried 300c web screen customization yet? I am stumped by following Sage web sdk documents.

Here is what I have:

Environment: Windows 2012 R2, SQL 2012 R2, Sage 300 v2017, VS 2015 with .NET 4.6.2., 300c web screen has been configured and running.

Hope to get some ideas to try to customize web screens.

One of the things you need to download is Kendo UI. They use it for some of their rendering elements. That's got a high dollar commitment.

After that you're almost on your own. There are only a handful of third-party developers creating web screens. One of the challenges, for example, is that you have to write a huge amount of code for handling grids. The 'wizards' and template code don't quite exist yet (or didn't a little while ago). I'd wait for another 6-12 months to see what kind of access and control the non-SDK crowd are given.

For now - look at Orchid's Extender for customization of business logic (which will propagate to the webscreen) and, for VB screen customizations, Enabling IP are developing an add-in system that would allow you and I to customize the same screen at a client without interfering with each other (assuming our business logic wasn't walking on top of each other) and without having to expose or show any code to each other.
