300 hour backup

Hi, hopefully someone can help me out with this

ARCServe is taking 300 hours to backup one server that still has the client installed. The DLT Drive display constantly says "failed."
I'm running NT Server 4.0 w sp5

Not sure if this will help much but try running the job using NT Backup to check it's not the DLT Drive at fault. If you're stuck for drivers I'll try and find the address I found them at and post them later. smc [sig][/sig]

Try disabling the driver on the windows side, from hardware manager and see if that helps.

in addition to the above info we need to know the follwing:

1-arcserve version and sp applied?
2-Is this happening with this server only?
3-Is this problem just started recently
