3-Way Conferencing

Hi there.

It is possible I am loosing my mind as I tend to flit between cs1k and bcm, anyway would someone please confirm the correct way to setup a 3-way call between 2 internal and one external party?

Make or recieve a call> put it on hold>place 2nd call press F 3 or conference press held line.

I always tell users to watch the display.

If they're not on a call and press Feature 3 or conference button, the display will show "Place a call"

If they're on a call and press Feature 3 or conference button, the display will show "Place second call"

When they're on the second call and press Feature 3 or conference button, the display will show "Press held line"


When I show them that the lights come on in the customer's head and they usually say, "Oh, thats simple"

yes that should have been two intercom keys.
