I have a 30GB drive that i want to created 3 volumes. 5gb=sys 5gb=user 20gb=apps. Is it ok to have 2 primary partitions? The sys is the first and apps is second. User is a extend partition. What is the correct syntax to map a drive to a different volume, thanks. Forgive most of my experience is with novell and midrange, thanks.

Install your Win2K and then run computer management from the Start/Programs/Admin menu item. Pick disk management and configure away. You can make the partitions and format them from within this tool. Or you can use partition magic.

Are you wanting to hard map the drives to the users or just setup a share point that they can click to?
