3 USERS WITH THE SAME FAX NUMBER 1

i need to setup a calliplot fax box for 3 users to monitor.whats the best way to do this my release is 5.00.41...tks

I do this with message forwarding rules. I forward to a email address that multiple people have access to. I set up the rule to mark the meaage opened in callpilot after it is forwarded, then I set the message retention low in the class of service, I tell it to delete opened messages after 7 days.

is it currently setup and you are adding? The peps need the call pilot desktop, add a DID phantom that dcfw to call pilot fax SDN, add that DID to their mailbox profile.

just setup it like one fax. Then setup 3 other fax desktop messg. prog. at the differt users with same Mailbox.
But if one of user delete fax item from mailbox, it also be deleted from other 2 mailbox.
thats all...

i used a acd dn with ncfw for my cp fax dn. where do i find the msg fwd rules in cp? and can it fwd to three emailes?

you need to enable message fwd in the class of service, it is a check box under the "Desktop and Web Messaging Configuration" heading. then you can configure it in the mailbox with faxing, you can only send it to one. I have doen it with shared folders, or if a department has a mailbox they share with proxy acces that works well to. we use groupwise, Im sure ther is a simmilar solution for any email app.

I'm with BombOne on this. I have set this up the same way using shared folders & distribution lists, and it seems to be the best way for users.

As long as a user is a part of the distribution list, he will get a copy of the fax. If he can see the shared folder, same deal, except there is only one copy of the fax.
