Are you taking a take home exam or what?

Application services
Don't understand this really since IP isn't that high in the OSI model. Only thing IP does is provide L4 port numbers to let os know which data goes to which application.

Reliable Transport Services
Otherwise known as TCP. An acknowledgement (ack) of every packet is made. Those missed are retransmitted automatically.

Connectionless...
Otherwise known as UDP. Much smaller (lighter) than TCP making it faster but if a packet is lost, it's lost. Higher level applications may notice and request retransmission but IP doesn't.

No I am not having a Take home exam, althoug that would be nice. But anyway I found out what they are. Applications Services are like HTTP: SMTP: FTP etc.. This is the one that I was really confused about.. Thanks Jeff for all the help.
