Inherited a customer with an existing issue of having to reboot phone system/router because calls between sites stop. Site A has 3-DS1 cards. 1st- PRI 2nd-P2P site B 3rd-P2P site C. Downloaded the system info at Site A as well as the Adtran router. The Adtran router at site B has 4 channels mapped for DSX1 and site C has 8 channels. Reviewed system setup and it looks as though the D chnnel from the Adtran is setup in the PRI channels and lines. Programming for the site B PRI- channels 20-23 and lines 853-856. Site C PRI channels 16-23 and lines 829-836. Should I just remove channel 23 and line 829/856 from the PRI at sites,as this is the D channel? The Adtran has only 4/8 ports setup for DSX1.
Thanks in advance

I have called P2P provider and of course they tested with no errors. Customer stated this issue comes and goes often.

Actually, Channel 24 is the D channel. The MAGIX, with a small number of B channels is usually set up using the LAST Few channels for them, and the VERY LAST Channel for the D. It doesn't care about anything more than the D Channel has to be on 24. NOW, if you have channel 24 in your pool, then that could cause a problem. Every time it is accessed (By use of the Pool), your PRI would go down. So, take another look for that issue, and let us know.

Found site c had clocking set to local and adtran set to network. I changed to loop and have not got a call since the 21st so hopefully that was issue.
Thanks
