Hi,

Does anyone know what the lowest spec cisco router is that will support 3 fastethernet ports.

Will probably be 2 fixed with 1 WIC slot.

I can't seem to find any info on the Cisco website that says whether it is possible.

I am hoping that it is supported on the 2600 series but so far not found anything to suggest they can.

If you can help please let me know.

Many thanks,

Keiron.

It's poddible to have 2 fixed Fastetherner and one Ethernet.

Hi,

Just found on the Cisco website that the 2600 series does not support a further ethernet or fastethernet port in one of the WIC slots. According to their compatibility chart it must be the only WIC that is not supported.

I have found a solution that will work though.

A 1721 router with a 4 port fastethernet switch module will do the job and still leave me with room for my ISDN module.

Saves me money aswell.

Keiron.
