I have a dual processor PIII WINNT4.0 server with 3 ethernet cards installed in same server configured in 3 diff classes A,B,C( 0.0.1.99), (127.0.1.99) (192.0.1.99). Each card is connected to seperate 10/100 switch and connects server to computers in 3 diff buildings. Literally 3 different networks which can access server but not computers in other network card.( This has been done for faster access in oracle environment by the S/W consultants)

Now we need to install a seperate mailserver so that all the computers in 3 different networks can access the mailserver without the interference of the NT server.

How to configure the mailserver and where it is to be connected so that all the 3 networks can access the mailserver.

3 Segemnts with three unique IP address and Masks, ported thru a switch correct? You want to allow access from all segments to mail server Correct? Route once; switch many

Erm... You have three different nets right?
If you have multiple nets and have one IP address for your mail server you must involve a decent router. Talk to cisco. Or just multipe address the NIC on your mail server; but this option involves loads of performance degredation.

Thankyou responders for your tips . I'll talk to CISCO for a suitable router and simultaneously try configuring the mail server with 3 cards tcp/ip 'ed the 3 in the appropriate classes and see the results.
