3.7 to 4.0 upgrade times out

Have a problem with an upgrade from 3.7 to 4.0. when I ran the pre-check tool everything came back O.K. I start to run the upgrade, it configures the FTP Server and loads the system healthcheck, but at that point it just sits there and eventually times out.

Anyone have this problem?

Can you access via Unified Manager?
Have you tried a power reboot?
Are there any Mapped Drives?
Have you refreshed the Inventory?

4. I did not refresh the inventory, but now that you said that the first time I tried running the upgrade an error popped that said inventory service is not running. I got into services and turned it back on and did not get that error again.You think doing an inventory refresh should fix the problem? Also there was recently memory added to the system for additional unified messaging seats, could this be why?

When that happen, i reboot the Bcm and wait 15 minutes prior to restart the upgrade.I found sometime that right after a reboot it hangs if you try the upgrade too quickly.
I guess some of the services are not fully up.

I did a refresh on the inventory last night waited about 20 minutes and ran the upgrade.

everything O.K.
