3.6 VER Build 2.2c- Not able to restore backup!

Is there a flaw or reason why I can't do a restore to BCM 400 3.6 when I've got a back up. Tries "Attempt to upload to MSC" 2x then quits and posts a fail on upload. Is 3.6 bad for backup and restore? Help woud be great! Thanks!

Core-Versions have to be the same (from the backup and the current msc-core)
Else backup will fail on msc upload.
