I have a 3.5 to 3.6 upgrade package I purchased last year.
I just went to upgrade my 3.5 BCM and received an error that the upgrade disk has expired.
I changed the date on my install PC however to January 7, 2007 and got the program to start.
However, the information says "this upgrade disk may be used until January 31, 2007. If trying to perform upgrade after this date, call for instructions."
The vendor who sold it to me wants to just replace it with a newer disk, and does not want to call Nortel for instructions as he thinks they will charge him for the support call.
I am ready to go right now though... Anyone having any knowledge or even ideas about whether running this with the PC back-dated would work?
Do you think it would cause any problems with the upgrade?
Would I maybe loose metrics and voicemail messages?
Should I just wait?
I would appreciate any feedback on this.
