When we start the BU we get an Error,a Backup is in progress. We rebooted and still same. It wont do a BU.
Any Ideas. Thanks

Sounds like I may have had this issue way back but cant recall fix.
Some thoughts...
Check alarms to see status of so called backup.
Remove any existing programmed scheduled backups.
See if its in Services so you can stop it.

What are you backing up to? Network, FTP or USB? maybe change type.

I have been running in to this issue as well and it seems ties to a specific date when ALL systems I have tried to backup have failed. I tried running the Apache tool fix (possible error in the security for Apache) but that doesn't seem to help.

One thing I haven't tried was to remove all NTP settings, change the date to some date prior to January 2008, and then rebooting. I remember the reason for the Apache fix was to repair a problem when initializing a system after January 2008. I worked my way around this issue by changing the date (via the COM port) and then running the initialization profile.

This is on a T$M customer so don't want to spend to much time on it. Thanks for the help!
