3.12 upgrade user authorizations

I am running a 10-user novell 3.12 system. I need more user authorizations. I bought a new 3.12 25-user authorization full install. Can I just copy the SERVERE.EXE onto the old server or do I need to do a full install???

You can just replace the server.exe but watch out for the patches.
