3.0 v5 networking

Hey guys, I am ruunning Filemaker Pro 3.0 v5 on a network of 3 computers, 1 of which is running Windows Me, and the other 2 runnning Windows 98. Whenever any of my associates modify files from a computer other than the host computer, the changes are not saved once the main host closes Filemaker. I was wondering if there is an easy fix for this other than upgrading the software. Thanks, any comments and suggestions are appreciated.

I run into a similar problem.
Two different OS.
I switch back to Win98 (or same OS on all the PC).
Since no problem anymore.
