Under Release 3.0, I am using a User Restriction Shortcode to control what channel a user dials out on T-1. I am using [9]N; and N# for code and telephone number. Also tried 9N; for code. The call will never complete until user presses #. I didn't see this in known issues. Has anyone else run into this?
THanks in advance.

Its been that way for quite a while, don't know if it intended operation or a bug.

Shortcode in User Restrictions don't seem to use the Dial Delay Time setting. Instead they will insist on waiting until there is a dial digits match to a short code before routing.

you could use [9]xxxxxxxxxx instead of [9]N; that way the system knows right away once 10 digits have been dialed to follow the restriction created.

sc [9]xxxxxxxxxx
tel N

What seems to work is to leave off the ; on the short code. So Telecomboy pointed me in right direction. Thanks to sizbut for pointing out a legacy problem. I hadn't had to do this before 3.0, so I didn't know about it.
I'll experiment more and update you.
