3.0 MERLIN MAGIX SOFTWARE AND WINSPM

Could someone tell me if a new version on WinSPM is needed for access to the new 3.0V software. I am currently running WinSPM Vwesion 6.0 on my 2.2 software users...

It is only needed if you want to convert your processor to R3. An older version will work if you just want to program from it.

Hey Redphone,

I actually meant on new installations of the latest release of software(3.0), would a new WinSPM version be necessary?

Some of the Quick Access stuff do not work properly if you do not upgrade to version eight. But the standard spm will work even if you spm 4.
