3.0 Big Issue with Intercom

I have a cust with IPO 412 3.0(40). I have applied the 7903 patch to fix issues with the conf/transfer item. But it hasn't fixed the major issue.

A call comes in on appr 1, and is answered. The secretary puts the call on hold and picks up appr 2 and press #extension. I have a shortcode of #XXXX and it is set to DialDirect, which will activate the speaker button on the far parties end as a SA-Voice type situation. The secretary says, John I have Bob on the phone, do you want him? Once that Dial Direct Intercom call is hang up, automatically the main incoming call on appr 1 which was on hold is connected to the caller.

Any ideas?
 
I believe the root of your issue is that with release 3.0 the HOLD button works just like the TRANSFER button. In previous releases, pressing Transfer + the rest of your scenario would yield the results that you see. To get past this, I'd make a couple of park buttons, and park the caller instead of using HOLD. Good luck!
