I have an animated gif that if I resize it smaller then the animation looks funny - it kind of flashes - how can I keep it normal?

I also want to add text but it also flashes in out

(I want to use a rollover image on my navbar ... home button turns into the animated gif but with the word home still showing.

Did you create the animated gif yourself, if so what did you use? Did you use Fireworks.

As for wanting the gif to be your rollover action, but also keep the button text visible, then you would have to add the original button into your gif file, and have it appear in every frame. Do you have the ability to create gifs or are you taking these gifs from somewhere else?

"Stupid isn't not knowing the answer, it's not asking the question

I just grabbed the gif from another share site but it's flames only on a black background - my up is orange background with text on it in an odd font created in fireworks as a jpg. do want me to email the images.
I think you can edit it in fireworks. I'm just not good at fireworks yet.
