2nd PRI programming

My customer has ordered a second PRI to put on their Magix system. I know how to program the PRI but have never added a second PRI. How do I get the second PRI in the same trunk group as the first one? The system will not let me add the new PRI channels to group 1 so I have put them in group 2. Same with the lines I have to put them in group 2. I need to have both PRI's usable when they dial 9.

Add them to the same pool. That is what controls your dialing out. Probably pool 70, which is the default. You could also put them in pool 890, and then under your ARS tables have pool 70 as first and 890 as second. That way, if one of the pri's goes down you won't have to deal with dead lines when accessing a line as it will default to the pool that is up and running.

No problem. I used to know the Legend/Magix like the back of my hand. I am the same way now where I have to try to remember sometimes how things work. Less and less of them out there.
